During ICRA’s courses on Higher Education I facilitate several sessions on the use of video. I train participants in using video within action research (participatory video) and within their classroom (flipped classroom concept). In the ‘flipped classroom’ method, teachers record a video of their theory that student can access at home before the lecture starts. In this way more time is allocated in class for experiential learning and direct support from the teacher. This is an example of a flipped classroom video that was produced by a course participant during the training.
